Our Economy: The UK economy has been in decline for at least 15 years, and is now the most unequal major economy in Europe, with declining productivity and investment, caused by political uncertainty and lack of a coherent economic strategy. We must create a long term plan to adapt our economic systems and practices away from extraction towards circularity, actively repairing and supporting equitable growth.

In 2017/18, Jason Holman—Director of Leeds Supercar Meet and a Celebrity Tour Manager—tragically lost six of his celebrity friends to suicide.

This heartbreaking period highlighted the urgent need to raise awareness around mental health. During his own struggles, Jason found vital support through Leeds Mind. Although part of the national Mind charity, the Leeds branch relies entirely on local donations—something Jason felt strongly about supporting. And so, Supercars & Coffee was born.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of Leeds Supercar Meet members, who volunteer their time to help make the event happen, and the continued support of our sponsors, this event has grown year after year.

AATA brings hundreds of international authors and readers together for an annual literary event like no other. One of the north’s largest book fairs, AATA gives book lovers of all genres the opportunity to meet their favourite authors in person and have their books signed.
